Python Engineer – Front Office | Geneva | 4 days in office

A leading global investment firm is looking for a Python Engineer to work directly with portfolio managers and traders in its front office team. This role is focused on delivering high-quality tools and data solutions to support fixed income trading and investment activity. This is a permanent position, based in Geneva, offering a very competitive package.

The Role:

• Build and maintain front office applications in Python to support trading and decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with PMs and traders, translating business needs into technical solutions.
• Engineer and manage data pipelines using technologies such as MongoDB, Snowflake, and AWS (or other cloud platforms).
• Ensure scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems that directly impact trading outcomes.

Requirements:

• Strong Python engineering skills.
• Direct front office experience – working alongside PMs and traders.
• Exposure to fixed income products (bonds sufficient; no need for complex derivatives).
• Familiarity with data engineering tools and cloud platforms (MongoDB, Snowflake, AWS or similar).
