Temporary Group HR Coordinator – Return-to-Work Focus

Location: Summer Hill, NSW

Duration: 7–8 weeks

Start Date: ASAP


A leading national retail group is seeking a skilled and motivated Group HR Coordinator to join their team on a short-term basis. This role focuses on managing workers compensation claims and supporting return-to-work programs across a large store network.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage workers compensation claims from initiation to closure.
  • Develop and implement return-to-work plans in consultation with team members, managers, insurers, and treating practitioners.
  • Provide regular updates to store and regional managers on progress.
  • Complete weekly leave forms and monthly claim reconciliations.
  • Compile and distribute monthly workers compensation reports.
  • Support ad hoc HR and administrative tasks as required.


About You

  • 2–3 years’ experience in HR and return-to-work coordination.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Confident working independently and managing multiple priorities.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Positive, collaborative, and solutions-focused mindset.
