Senior Project Officer

VAQ is undergoing a period of significant growth and change and has established the VAQ Enhancement Program – VISTA (VAQ Improving Support and Trauma-informed Assistance). VISTA will undertake a range of activities in terms of program and project delivery, stakeholder engagement, staff consultation and importantly, change management. As Senior Project Officer, you will play an important role in using your technical expertise to reach our new VISTA.

Key Responsibilities

• Project manage operational improvements in a complex delivery setting through stages of development, coordination, implementation, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with staff, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to identify issues and gather requirements.
• Document options for a new operating model, and identify proposed changes, business benefits and success measures.
• Develop future state process maps, procedures, and guidelines.
• Facilitate working groups with subject matter experts to identify and develop ideas for change, while providing them with guidance, support, and advice.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties as directed by supervisory and management staff, adhering to professional standards and organisational objectives.
