Technical Expert

About the Role

Seidor is recruiting a Technical Expert (Level 5) with 11–15 years of experience to join an exciting long-term project with the European External Action Service (EEAS). This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to coordinate teams around complex IT systems and architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of information systems.
• Provide expert advice and support to project teams on technology integration.
• Prepare and validate technical designs and architecture diagrams.
• Coordinate technical activities and mentor project team members.
• Contribute to strategic, operational, and financial planning.
• Participate in meetings with stakeholders, business analysts, and developers.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• 11–15 years of relevant professional experience.
• Excellent communication, drafting, and leadership skills.
• Expert knowledge in architecture and system integration.
• Proven expertise in:
• Backend: Java (6–11), Spring (MVC, Boot, Security), Hibernate, JPA, Swagger.
• Frontend: VueJS (2–3), JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, KendoUI, Dojo.
• Databases: SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle SQL Developer.
• DevOps & CI/CD: Atlassian (JIRA, Bamboo), GitHub Actions, Docker.
• Project Management: PM², Agile (Scrum, Kanban).
• Documentation Tools: ARIS Modeler.
• Technical certifications are an asset depending on project needs.
