DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer (West Flanders – Hybrid, 1 day/week onsite)

Our clients in West Flanders is looking to strengthen their engineering team with a skilled DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE). This is a hybrid role, requiring just one day per week onsite in West Flanders, with the flexibility to work remotely the rest of the time.

The Role

Our client is seeking an engineer with strong DevOps and SRE experience to help improve the scalability, resilience, and automation of their systems. You’ll work closely with developers and operations teams to streamline deployments, enhance monitoring, and ensure high availability across production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable smooth and reliable deployments.
• Automate infrastructure management with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
• Manage and optimize cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes.
• Support containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a proactive mindset.

Your Profile

• Proven track record in a DevOps or SRE role.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and container orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Proficiency with scripting (Python, Bash, or similar).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch is an advantage.
