Contract Rate: Euro's 600 per day

We are looking for one of our customers a DevOps Developer who will play a critical role in the DevOps team, focusing on maintaining and enhancing the efficiency of our Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline, container orchestration, and infrastructure management using cutting-edge tools and practices.

Core Tasks

• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to streamline and automate software delivery processes.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using Terraform to automate and manage provisioning and configuration of cloud resources.
• Extensive experience as a Platform Engineer or DevOps Specialist, specializing in Linux-based systems.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab, including setting up CI/CD pipelines, managing repositories, and using GitLab APIs.
• Deep understanding and practical experience with containerization technologies, especially Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Terraform for developing reusable templates and automated provisioning across environments.

Developer Tools and Frameworks:

• Familiarity with modern programming and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/EFK stack.

Specific expertise:

• Experience with GitLab and CI/CD integration: Minimum 3 years’ experience. But candidate will have to justify one experience in design and management of a complex GitLab CI/CD pipelines used by multiple teams and can advise on DevSecOps recommended practices.
• Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration: Minimum 5 years ‘experience.
• Experience with cloud services like AWS or Azure : Minimum 3 years’ experience.
• Proficiency in using Terraform for IaC : Minimum 5 years ‘experience.
• Familiarity with automation and configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet : minimum 2 years experience

Mandatory certifications (one of): Certified DevSecOps Professional (CDP) certification, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, Microsoft DevOps Engineer Expert, Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer
