We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives in Group-wide Controlling and Performance Management. This role is ideal for a dynamic professional with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for driving innovation in controlling practices aligned with corporate strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Advance Controlling Practices
- Design and implement innovative controlling tools and methodologies aligned with strategic objectives and industry best practices.
- Further develop group-wide project budgeting standards, e.g. contingency assessment
Enhance Performance Management
- Develop integrated performance frameworks incorporating both financial and non-financial KPIs (e.g., capex delivery, operational efficiency, transformation progress).
- Build and maintain PowerBI dashboards and forecasting tools to support performance tracking
- Support the definition of performance targets, monitor progress, and initiate corrective actions
- Conduct financial and strategic analyses; prepare high-impact reports and presentations for senior leadership.
Capex Controlling
- Coordinate a Group-wide community of practice focused on capex portfolio and project controlling.
- Develop and implement standardized processes, tools, and reporting frameworks for capex planning and controlling.
- Consolidate decentralized capex budgets and forecasts into a transparent, Group-wide investment overview.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in strategic controlling or performance management
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Business Engineering, or a related field.
- Fluent in English (C1); working knowledge of German, French, or Dutch is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional and international project settings.
- Advanced PowerBI skills, including dashboard creation and DAX development.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies is an asset.
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills with a strategic mindset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and advise senior stakeholders.
- Proactive, curious, and results driven.
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of key initiatives.
