OPENING NEW POSITIONS TO SUPPORT OUR GROWTH IN INCENTIVE PLAN RELATED SERVICES 

Lago Kapital Oy is a financial services provider founded in 2012, specializing in algorithm-based market access services for listed companies. As the leading market maker in the Nordics, we also provide services such as share buybacks, share lending, and stabilization measures in connection with listings. 

In 2022, we expanded our operations into the share-based payments segment. Our administration service covers option plans, bonus programs as well as share saving programs. Our valuation services include everything from plain vanilla to the most complex simulations (IFRS2, IFRS9, IFRS13). Being a regulated market participant we also offer market access when earned shares need to be purchased or employee options need to be converted into cash. 

With the rapid growth of this business area, we are now looking to strengthen our team by opening the three following positions: 

Incentive Administration Specialist

Junior quantitative analyst 

Junior Python Developer 

Junior Python Developer 

Job description: 

• Work on development tasks related to incentive program management, including: 
• Implementing new functionalities in the client portal 
• Maintaining and further developing the internal management system 
• Contribute to the design and automation of internal tools and workflows 
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure maintainable, high-quality and secure code 
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across functions, gaining exposure to both software development and financial applications 
• Flexible working arrangements 

Qualifications: 

• Proficiency in Python 
• Basic familiarity with Django (or another web framework) 
• Comfortable working with Git and Jira in a collaborative development environment 
• Fluent in English and/or Finnish, both written and spoken 
• Relevant educational background  

Additionally valued:  

• Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs) 
• Knowledge of databases and data processing (SQL, Pandas, NumPy) 
• Experience with Java (opportunity to contribute to trading algorithm development) 
• Familiarity with Linux environments and server administration 
• Basic knowledge of financial instruments (shares, warrants, and options) 
• Additional language skills beyond English and/or Finnish 
• Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment 
• Genuine interest in financial markets and motivation to continuously learn more
