Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on and reliable IT Support Specialist for a full-time, onsite role in Helsinki, Finland. This individual will be the primary point of contact for all IT-related needs at the local office, supporting both end-user devices and facility infrastructure. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, organized, and capable of balancing routine support tasks with special IT projects.


Skills

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are imperative.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to adapt to a business context proficiently.
  • Proactive and self-directed, with a desire to take ownership of tasks and projects.
  • Superior desktop support manner, characterized by patience and an ability to communicate technological concepts to individuals with various levels of tech proficiency.


Technical Proficiencies:

  • Deep understanding of macOS and Windows support (Essential).
  • Extensive experience with end-user hardware, including laptops, monitors, and peripherals.
  • Practical experience supporting Google Workplace applications, such as Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and Meet.
  • Familiarity with IOS and Android Operating Systems.
  • Knowledge of ChromeOS is desirable but not essential.


Network Support:

  • Knowledge of office networks and networking fundamentals.
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot Wi-Fi and internet connectivity issues.
  • Proficient in managing LAN connections, including switch ports and cabling.


Facility Support:

  • Solid background in supporting Meeting Room Systems.
  • Experience with Google Meet is advantageous but not essential.
  • Comprehensive understanding of AV principles and hardware components.
  • Experience supporting office printers and multi-function devices (MFDs).
