Electrical/Mechanical Project Manager – Southern Finland – Data Centre – 5 yr Project Contract


Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical/Mechanical Project Manager to lead and manage a small site team of engineers on a data centre project in Southern Finland. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project delivery, including planning, coordination, execution, and completion within the agreed timeframe and budget.


This role requires strong leadership skills to guide the engineering team, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and health and safety regulations. The Project Manager will act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, managing communication and collaboration between contractors, suppliers, and clients. The position demands a proactive approach to risk management, problem-solving, and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a small team of site engineers, providing technical guidance and support.

• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.

• Coordinate electrical and mechanical engineering activities on site.

• Ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

• Manage stakeholder relationships and communication effectively.

• Monitor project progress, budgets, and risks, implementing mitigation strategies as required.

• Oversee commissioning and handover processes to ensure successful project completion.

Skills

• Proven experience in electrical and mechanical project management.

• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Knowledge of data centre infrastructure and related engineering disciplines.

• Ability to manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.

• Risk identification and mitigation expertise.

• Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams.

• Fluency in English knowledge of Finnish is advantageous.
