Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer to join their technology team in Germany.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure across platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Automate provisioning, configuration, and monitoring using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to build CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
  • Monitor cloud systems for performance, reliability, and security; troubleshoot and resolve issues proactively.
  • Ensure best practices in cloud architecture, cost optimization, and compliance.
  • Manage cloud networking, storage, and compute resources to support business needs.
  • Implement backup, disaster recovery, and security protocols across cloud environments.
  • Stay up to date with emerging cloud technologies and propose innovative solutions.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles.
  • Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Strong knowledge of Linux-based systems, networking, and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or Google Cloud Engineer) are a plus.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
