Our client is seeking a skilled and proactive Security Analyst to join their cybersecurity team in Germany.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor networks and systems for security breaches, events, and anomalies using SIEM and other security tools.
• Investigate security incidents and coordinate incident response efforts to mitigate threats.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and support patch management processes.
• Analyze security logs and threat intelligence to proactively identify risks.
• Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and compliance teams to improve security posture.
• Maintain and update security documentation, policies, and procedures.
• Assist in audits and compliance efforts (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, NIS2).
• Provide security awareness training and support to internal teams.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Prior experience in a cybersecurity or security analyst role.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR).
• Familiarity with common attack vectors and mitigation strategies.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2).
• Proficient in log analysis and network traffic analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus.
