My Dublin based client is recruiting for a Senior Dotnet Developer this will be initially be a 9 - 12 month daily rate contract with a requirement of ideally 1 day per week on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET Core and related technologies.
• Build and maintain microservices and REST APIs to support scalable and high-performance systems.
• Develop data access layers using Entity Framework with SQL Server and/or Azure SQL.
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize solutions on the Azure cloud platform.
• Apply strong OOP principles in solution design and coding standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Azure DevOps and Git for CI/CD pipelines and version control.
• Contribute to front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular.
• Ensure application security, scalability, and maintainability through best practices.

Essential Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in software development with .NET Core.
• Proven expertise in microservices architecture and REST API development.
• Hands-on experience with Entity Framework, SQL Server, and/or Azure SQL.
• Solid background working with the Azure cloud platform.
• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
• Proficient in Azure DevOps pipelines and Git source control.
• Front-end development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD) and unit testing frameworks.
