WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
For our Iveco Defence Vehicles and Astra business units, we are looking for a passionate and highly motivated Platform Project Managerto join our team in Piacenza.
The Platform Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution and monitoring of company projects. The ideal candidate combines technical knowledge, organizational skills, and business acumen, ensuring that all initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic goals. This role requires excellent communication abilities to effectively coordinate cross-functional teams and proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
Key Responsibilities
• Define and manage project timelines, budgets, resources and team allocation.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality outcomes that meet business and technical requirements.
• Anticipate, identify, and resolve risks or issues related to program execution.
• Conduct performance reviews, track KPIs, and evaluate program effectiveness.
• Act as a communication bridge between all relevant teams and stakeholders.
• Participate in tender phases for new product development by coordinating development plans, ensuring on-time delivery, and collecting input from the departments involved, with specific focus on investment and product costs.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineer or a related field
• at least 3+ years of relevant experience in automotive company
• Solid understanding of automotive products
• Solid knowledge of product development and configuration management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
