As a Network Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the design and configuration of hybrid network infrastructures (on-premise and cloud) within the Defense sector. You will work on command-and-control systems, ensuring secure and efficient network operations. Job Description
As a Network Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the design and configuration of hybrid network infrastructures (on-premise and cloud) within the Defense sector. You will work on command-and-control systems, ensuring secure and efficient network operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow within a high-impact industry, applying technical expertise while developing strong foundations for your professional career.
Your missions
- Participate in the design and configuration of network infrastructures (hybrid model: on-cloud and on-premise).
- Configure and manage CISCO equipment (CCNA certification is considered a plus).
- Support cybersecurity practices, including VPN management, network segmentation, and device configuration.
- Work with network configuration tools to ensure reliable and secure connectivity.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with Defense sector standards and requirements.
- Recent graduate in Computer Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering.
- Strong interest in network design and configuration, with basic knowledge of CISCO technologies.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, particularly VPNs and network segmentation.
- Native Italian speaker with fluent English (minimum B2 level).
- Open to working 50% onsite (initial phase fully onsite, later hybrid mode).
- Tailored training and mentoring to develop technical expertise in network engineering.
