Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Full-Stack Developer, located in Iași, România. The Junior Full-Stack Developer will be responsible for both back-end and front-end web development tasks. Daily tasks will include designing and implementing software solutions, maintaining existing systems, and collaborating with the team to deliver high-quality products.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features for a Web platform and take part in several implementation stages.
• Work on many collateral development areas: scalability, performance, security and testing.
• Use modern technologies like React and Java Spring to be in trend with the latest IT products.
• Be part of a dynamic and motivated team.

Requirements

• Understanding of IT multi-tier systems using the MVC architecture.
• Solid knowledge of essential front-end technologies (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and experience with a modern front-end framework: Angular, React or VueJS.
• Solid Java SE knowledge and OOP techniques and experience with Spring related technologies.
• Fundamental relational databases skills: PostgreSQL, MariaDB or H2.
• Intermediate/advanced English language level
• Finalized or in progress superior studies: computer science, computers, mathematics or engineering
• Able to work on-site in Iași.

Advantages

• Experience with styling technologies (e.g. Bootstrap, AntD, MaterialUI, etc.), with React (e.g. Components, Hooks, Redux, RTK, etc.) and specific notions of Web application development: HTTP, REST API, GraphQL, etc.
• Experience with various Java libraries (Hibernate, Jackson, Jetty, AspectJ, etc.), with Java Spring (Security, Data, REST, etc.).
• Solid knowledge of relational database internals: indexes, query planning, memory management, etc.
• Base understanding of security models in Web applications.
• Abilities in Linux operating system and Bash
• Version control systems: Git, Bazaar or SVN
