As a Data Scientist, your mission is to generate valuable insights by analyzing and modeling data from both internal and external sources. Your work will directly support business process optimization and data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will be responsible for developing and deploying machine learning and AI models, as well as delivering effective, scalable
ROLE
- Viewing external data sources including the integration of sources without a native connection (e.g. web scraping);
- Conducting exploratory analyses including pre-processing and cleansing of data (e.g. using Python or SQL);
- Independent conception and development of machine learning and AI models (e.g. regressions, neural networks or LLMs);
- Advising and supporting domain experts, e.g. in defining requirements and with regard to technical/methodological feasibility;
- Visualization/provision of models and their results (e.g. via web applications or Power BI);
- Application and optimization of DevOps processes, including the operation and further development of CI/CD pipelines;
- Management of projects in the data science environment over the entire life cycle;
- Coordination of rollouts, operation and further development with other experts (e.g. Data Engineer, Business Analyst or Product Owner).
PROFILE
- University degree or equivalent training in aquantitative-empirical field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Machine Learning, Physics, Operations Research, or Computer Science);
- Experience in the practical application of statistical modeling, machine learning and AI;
- Good knowledge of common programming languages such as Python and SQL;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Azure (especially Azure Machine Learning Studio);
- Experienced in working with Git;
- Experience in Azure DevOps is an advantage;
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required;
- German language is a plus, but not mandatory.
