Role Overview:

We’re looking for an experienced Java Backend Engineer to help us design and deliver reliable, scalable, and high-performance backend solutions. You’ll be part of a dynamic team working with the latest cloud and DevOps practices, contributing to services built on a microservices foundation.

🔨 Tech Environment You’ll Work With

• Programming & Frameworks: Java, Spring Boot
• Cloud & Containerization: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes
• System Design: Microservices, REST APIs, Kafka
• Testing & QA: JUnit, Mockito
• Build & Deployment: Git, Maven, Jenkins

⚡ What We Expect

• At least 5 years of professional backend development experience
• Strong understanding of contemporary engineering practices
• Ability to take ownership of tasks while collaborating in cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in English (Swedish is optional)

📂 Interview Journey

• Technical discussion: includes coding exercises
• Manager conversation: focus on communication, collaboration, and team fit

📌 Practical Details

• Location: Remote across Sweden (Stockholm candidates preferred)
• Start Date: Approximately 1 month after offer (background checks required)
• Contract: Full-time, Mid–Senior level role
