At Tata Technologies we make product development dreams a reality by designing, engineering and validating the products of tomorrow for the world’s leading manufacturers. Due to our continued growth, we are now recruiting for a Software Architect, to strengthen our team in Gothenburg.
Scope of role
Infotainment is one of the fastest growing areas within automotive technology today. Competition is not only limited to traditional automotive competitors. Innovative and fast-moving companies like Apple and our collaboration partner Google have a strong influence on competition.
The group is part of the software factory for Infotainment. We’re the team that opens the window into the software factory, making its inner workings clear and accessible. Through monitoring and visualization of CI/CD, environment and product, we turn raw data into stories that teams can act on.
Responsibilities
• Improve system observability by identifying monitoring gaps and implementing metrics that provide meaningful visibility into CI system health and performance.
• Collaborate with developers to define and maintain KPIs, SLIs, and SLOs for core CI services.
• Automate monitoring, alerting, and operational workflows to reduce manual effort and improve reliability.
• Collect, analyse, and manage operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
• Build and maintain dashboards and visualizations that make reliability and performance data accessible to developers and stakeholders.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy across monitoring and observability systems.
Knowledge/Experience
Required qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Data management
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)
• Experience with databases relevant to observability and CI/CD (e.g. Prometheus/InfluxDB, PostgreSQL/MySQL and Elasticsearch).
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
