Our client - a fast-growing SaaS innovator used by global enterprises - is launching a brand-new AI initiative. They’re looking for a Senior Fullstack GenAI Engineer to be the founding member of this team and lead the charge in embedding cutting-edge AI into their product suite.

🧠 What You’ll Do

As the first dedicated AI engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of AI within the company. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll:

• Architect and build AI-powered features and infrastructure from the ground up.
• Design and implement GenAI tools and agentic workflows - think chatbots, LLMs, RAG pipelines, and more.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering leadership to define the AI roadmap and long-term vision.
• Prototype and productionise AI features that enhance user experience and drive product innovation.
• Evaluate and integrate technologies like AWS Bedrock and other GenAI platforms to accelerate development.
• Influence architectural decisions in a microservices-based environment, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Mentor and guide future hires as the AI team grows around you.

🛠️ What You Bring

This isn’t a role for a pure data scientist or MLOps specialist. We’re looking for a well-rounded software engineer with a passion for AI and a track record of building real-world products. You’ll need:

• A strong background in software engineering - beneficial if this is full-stack exp.
• Experience building and integrating GenAI solutions into production environments.
• Proficiency in Node.js/TypeScript, with additional experience in Python, Go, or PHP.
• Familiarity with AWS (especially Bedrock); GCP experience is also welcome.
• Solid understanding of LLMs, RAG, and agentic AI workflows.
• Experience working in microservice architectures.
• A proactive, collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, startup-style environment.
