We are currently recruiting for a Project Control Manager for a Construction Area Project:

Location: Northern Sweden
On-site presence: ~80%
Start: As soon as possible
Duration: duration at least 6 months with option of extension
Language: English
Job Role:
- Drive cost transparency, risk management, and performance monitoring for the area scope within a large-scale industrial project.
- Ensure robust controlling, forecasting, and reporting to support project success and stakeholder alignment.
- This role strengthens project steering by providing fact-based insights, proactive risk assessments, and structured monitoring across all area phases.
Responsibilities:
- Controlling & Monitoring
- Oversee costs, KPIs, and project progress across the construction area
- Track commitments, expenditures, and budget adherence
- Reporting & Forecasting
- Prepare and align reports on financials, forecasts, and deviations
- Provide clear visibility for stakeholders through structured reporting
- Data & Facts Management
- Ensure accuracy and transparency of key data (e.g., quantities from EPCM)
- Maintain high-quality data across project controlling systems (Power BI, etc.)
- Risk & Change Management
- Identify and evaluate schedule and cost risks; propose mitigation measures
- Review and assess change requests/orders for cost and schedule impacts
- Act as key interface between Project Management, EPCM, Engineering, Cost Control, and Contract
Management Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Project Management (or equivalent)
- Approx. 5 years of project control experience on large projects, preferably with EPCM contracts
- Experience with cost control systems, performance monitoring tools, and reporting standards
- Solid understanding of cross-functional collaboration with engineering, procurement, construction, safety, finance, and quality
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, fact-based approach
