Mittanbud Marketplaces are looking for a curious and ambitious backend developer to help us build the leading marketplace for home services in the Nordics. You’ll work with big brands like Mittanbud, 3byggetilbud, and Servicefinder, and contribute to a platform that connects homeowners with professionals across four countries. As part of a passionate and supportive dev team, you’ll get to work with modern technologies, solve complex scaling challenges, and shape how our platform evolves.
We are now looking to strengthen our team with more forward-thinking and ambitious backend developers. The right candidates will be those who focus on quality and agility, with a test driven development mindset. Your tasks will range from planning and designing solutions, to development, launch, maintenance and testing. Currently, we’re open for all levels who wish to develop both personally and professionally; but above all, you should be passionate about your field. Knowledge in PHP/object-oriented code is a strong advantage, along with an interest in other technologies like SQL, Elasticsearch, and RabbitMQ.
As part of our IT department, you’ll take on varied and challenging tasks with real impact. You’ll work on services powering both internal tools and high-traffic systems used by thousands of homeowners and professionals every single day. The work spans from building new product features, to improving developer experience internally and tackling performance and scalability challenges in production. You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues across IT and product, in a dedicated and supportive environment that values both technical excellence and teamwork.
