Head of Product – Heavy Agriculture Equipment

Our diversified portfolio includes sectors such as Automotive, Retail, Healthcare, Hospitality, and Logistics. We are currently seeking a Head of Product – Heavy Agriculture Equipment to join our Automotive Dealership division in Dubai for emerging markets.


Job Purpose

The Product Manager will be responsible for the strategic management, market introduction, and lifecycle performance of agriculture heavy equipment (tractors, harvesters, loaders, irrigation machinery, etc.). The role requires strong product knowledge, customer insight, and the ability to drive sales growth through product positioning, channel development, and after-sales support.


Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Management

Define product portfolio strategy for agriculture heavy equipment, aligned with business objectives.

Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.

Manage product lifecycle, including introduction, pricing, promotion, and end-of-life phase.

Collaborate with OEMs and suppliers to bring new models and technology to the market.

Sales & Business Development Support

Support sales teams with technical product knowledge, presentations, and training.

Develop sales tools, catalogues, and product literature to drive market adoption.

Participate in tenders, bids, and large-scale agricultural development projects.

Channel & Dealer Management

Build and manage relationships with dealers, distributors, and agricultural cooperatives.

Provide dealer training on product features, benefits, and sales techniques.

Ensure channel partners are aligned with product strategy and service standards.

Customer Engagement

Work with farmers, agricultural businesses, and government entities to understand needs.

Conduct product demonstrations, field trials, and exhibitions.

Gather customer feedback to drive continuous product improvement.

After-sales & Service Support

Ensure aftersales readiness including spare parts availability, service tools, and training.

Support warranty processes and product quality monitoring.

Liaise with OEMs for technical support and product modifications.

Reporting & Analysis

Monitor product performance, sales volumes, market share, and profitability.

Prepare regular business reviews and product reports for management.

Recommend product portfolio adjustments based on performance insights.


Required Experience & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Business Administration (Master’s preferred).

10-12 years of experience in product management, sales, or business development in agriculture machinery or heavy equipment sector.

Strong technical knowledge of tractors, harvesters, loaders, irrigation systems, and related machinery.

Must have experience in managing OEM relationships and working with international brands.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work with farmers, cooperatives, distributors, and government projects.
