Role Summary
We are looking for a Fraud Strategy & Modeling Analyst to support the build-out of our anti-fraud risk management framework. The role will focus on fraud rules, strategy design, and model development to safeguard our lending products in the UAE market, with a strong focus on credit lending scenarios.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain fraud detection rules and strategies across lending products.
- Work with data science teams to design, test, and deploy fraud scoring models.
- Analyze fraud cases and transaction data to identify new patterns and emerging threats.
- Support the integration of internal and external data sources into the fraud engine.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve approval accuracy and reduce fraud losses.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Risk Management, or related field.
- 3+ years’ experience in fraud risk strategy, modeling, or analytics (credit lending/financial services preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with knowledge of SQL/Python and model evaluation metrics.
- Familiarity with fraud detection tools, case management, or decision engines.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt strategies to a local UAE context.
