General Project Management Manager

The opportunity

As a Project Management Manager at Hitachi Energy, you will lead the Project Managers and Associate Project Managers to ensure consistent project execution across the organization. You will be responsible for developing and implementing project management standards, overseeing project governance, and supporting project teams to deliver complex energy solutions efficiently and safely.

How You'll Make An Impact

• Governance & Oversight:
• Establish and maintain project management methodologies, tools, and templates.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, risk management, and quality standards.
• Drive monthly project reviews and performance tracking.
  
  

• Leadership & Coordination:
• Lead and mentor Associate Project Managers and Project Managers
• Serve as an escalation point for project-related issues.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  
  

• Stakeholder Engagement:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to Operations Manager and senior leadership.
  
  

• Strategic Planning:
• Align PM activities with business goals and strategic initiatives.
• Support portfolio management and resource allocation.
  
  

• Health & Safety:
• Promote and enforce Health & Safety standards across all project operations.
  

Your background

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Proven experience in project management within the energy or industrial sector.
• Strong knowledge of EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) project execution.
• PMP or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
