Data Support Specialist

Experience - 2 – 4 years’ experience in a similar role with basic knowledge of data analytics, data governance and technical ability.

Education - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Management, IT or a related field

Power BI development, basics of data governance, basics of data analytics, Azure Cloud certifications are preferred.

Technical Competency

• Knowledge of Power BI and other data visualization tools.
• Familiarity with Jira for project tracking and collaboration.
• Basic understanding of data governance framework.
• Fundamental IT application support experience would be preferred

Responsibilities:

Research and Information Gathering:

• Conduct research to support analytics and business objectives.
• Gather and compile relevant information for analysis.

Data Analysis:

• Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Collaborate with team members to interpret and present findings.

Visualization and Reporting:

• Create data samples and produce interactive Power BI dashboards.
• Develop informational dashboards to support decision-making processes.
• Assist in preparing presentations for stakeholders.

Process and Documentation:

• Assist in creating and maintaining process map documentation.
• Work closely with data governance specialists to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work under the guidance of the Analytics Delivery Lead and Data Governance Specialist.
• Actively participate in meetings and cross-functional team collaborations.
• Communicate findings and insights clearly and effectively.
