We are looking for an experienced Android Developer (8+ years) to join our team on a W2 Contract basis. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of advanced Android applications while mentoring senior engineers and ensuring best practices in mobile engineering.

Role Type: W2 Contract (no C2C)

Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the U.S

Responsibilities (Day-to-Day):

• Design, develop, and implement complex features for Android applications.

• Collaborate with Product and Technology teams to define the Android roadmap.

• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for improved developer productivity.

• Architect and implement test automation frameworks.

• Provide and maintain technical documentation.

• Mentor and lead senior engineers, promoting a culture of innovation and craftsmanship.

• Participate in medium- to large-scale, cross-functional projects from requirements to delivery.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while ensuring defect-free delivery.

• Translate business priorities into scalable technical solutions.

• Research and apply industry best practices to strengthen mobile development standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on Android (Kotlin/Java).

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping native Android apps.

• At least one application published and available on the Google Play Store.

• Proven leadership in delivering complex, large-scale projects.

• Strong experience with CI/CD frameworks for Android applications.

• Expertise in Android app architecture, design patterns (MVVM, MVP), and test automation.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

• Cross-platform experience (Flutter, React Native).

• Exposure to cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

• Experience with test frameworks (Espresso, JUnit, etc.).

• Open-source contributions or Android community involvement.
