Description Of Duties
This On-site role blends responsibilities across Talent Sourcing and HR Generalist functions. The ideal candidate is people focused, adaptable and highly organized.
Talent Sourcing Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and post open roles on the company’s careers page.
- Engage with potential candidates via social media, video conferencing, and phone to build relationships and assess fit.
- Source high-quality candidates using a variety of techniques and tools.
- Present qualified candidates in an organized, trackable format to HR and hiring managers.
- Coordinate all aspects of the interview process, including scheduling, candidate communication, travel logistics, and Zoom/video interviews.
- Craft and send personalized outreach messages to candidates, while keeping stakeholders informed throughout the sourcing lifecycle.
- Serve as a public-facing representative of the company; professionalism, strong interpersonal skills, and a personable demeanor are essential.
- Collaborate with Retro Studios and Nintendo’s internal recruiting teams on hiring initiatives and projects.
- Partner with HR and Operations to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
- Maintain and monitor recruiting tools, databases, and sourcing resources.
- Provide first-level support to studio staff for HR-related inquiries and requests.
- Maintain accurate and organized employee personnel records in compliance with policy.
- Assist with key HR initiatives, including performance management, annual reviews, new hire orientation, and offboarding.
- Help ensure clear and effective communication of studio-wide policies and HR updates.
- Collaborate with HR and Operations teams on cross-functional projects and assignments.
- Stay informed about current HR trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Perform additional administrative duties as needed.

- 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, recruiting, or a related administrative role.
- Foundational understanding of HR functions including onboarding, records management, and compliance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to interact with all levels of the organization in a respectful, professional manner.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Self-starter with a growth mindset; eager to learn and contribute to a collaborative team.
- Empathetic, service-oriented, and people-first approach.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Adaptable and comfortable with change in a dynamic, evolving studio environment.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Behavior, or a related field.
- Familiarity with talent acquisition practices, including sourcing, screening, and interview coordination.
- Passion for gaming and the video game industry.
