About the Role:

Quanta Tech Systems is seeking a backend developer with proven VPN infrastructure experience to architect and scale secure systems. This role starts remote, with relocation to Madrid within 2–3 months.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage, and optimize VPN solutions (WireGuard, OpenVPN, IPsec).
• Architect backend systems for secure connections, key management, and user sessions.
• Integrate VPN with backend infrastructure (auth, routing, monitoring).
• Build for scale/resilience across multi-region deployments.
• Partner with infra + product teams on compliance and security.

Requirements

• Commercial VPN deployment experience.
• Backend engineering expertise (PHP, Go, Rust, Node.js, Java, etc.).
• Strong networking/encryption/session management knowledge.
• Hands-on with Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD, multi-region infra.
• Fluent English.

Nice to Have

• Crypto/fintech or regulated industry experience.
• Open-source VPN/security contributions.
