Frontend Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated Frontend Developer (SDE I) with 1-3 years of industry experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and possess a strong foundation in problem-solving, essential JavaScript and TypeScript skills, React expertise, and proficiency in HTML/CSS. The candidate should also have a grasp of version control with Git.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement user-facing features using React and related libraries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable front-end systems.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews, write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, and adhere to best practices and coding standards.
• Work closely with backend developers to integrate front-end systems with APIs and back-end services.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth user experiences across various browsers and devices.

Ideal Persona of the Candidate (Must have):

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 1-3 years of relevant professional experience in frontend development.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
• DOM manipulation and basic understanding of Web browser
• Proficiency in JavaScript fundamentals and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with React in building scalable web applications.
• Sound knowledge of HTML and CSS for crafting responsive and visually appealing interfaces.
• Familiarity with Git version control for collaborative software development.

Good to have:

- Familiarity with Tailwind CSS for efficient styling.

- Exposure to NextJS for server-side rendering and React applications.

- Experience with Storybook for UI component development and testing.

- Knowledge of React Form solutions for effective form management.

- Prior experience of using Cursor or V0.dev.

Additional Preferences:

- Personal projects or contributions to open-source initiatives are a strong plus.

- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving priorities and challenges.

- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively within a team.
