Team Function:
Commercial Auto and Workers Compensation Line Management is responsible for the profit and loss of each of the line of business. It involves managing the overall countrywide rate strategy for the line, monitoring and identifying opportunities to improve the pricing and segmentation of the product, and partnering with State Product, Underwriting, Actuarial, and Sales to achieve profitable growth the line of business.
Role Description:
This includes analyzing the market, creating strategies, and managing the product rate.
Responsibilities
- Market analysis: Identify opportunities for new products and enhancements to existing products
- Strategy development: Create strategies to meet business goals and competitive positioning
- Competitive Intelligence: Understand how competitors price and manage their business
- Product management: Manage the post implementation product lifecycle, including pricing, underwriting, and distribution to help improve product effectiveness
- Compliance: Ensure all products meet state-specific compliance requirements
- Forecasting: Analyze and prepare forecasts of product premium growth
- Collaboration: Work with sales, underwriting, actuarial and service to meet product goals
Requirements
- This role will require an understanding of data analytics including working with SQL and Python, Snowflake and PowerBI.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields
- 1-3 years of experience
- Fluent in English
- Analytical mindset with ability to create dashboards and insights
- Growth-oriented and proactive in making business recommendations
