My client, a well-respected, elite, well-funded AI scaleup, is seeking core 10x Software Engineers to join their team. This company is scaling hard with 2xYoY growth and is on track for unicorn status.

You will be working on problems and products that are changing the world for the better. My client is disrupting the Power and Electricity industry and was founded by an ex-Google Software Engineer.

You will have the opportunity to work with the brightest AI/SWE talent in Australia - the team includes ex-Meta, Google, Atlassian and Canva engineers.

The successful candidate will have:

• Excellent core problem-solving skills
• Strong modern dev skills - preferably either Java, Kotlin, C++, Rust - but any other modern languages are fine - my client is language agnostic when assessing talent
• Strong software engineering fundamentals - particularly across data structures and algorithms - my client cares more about this than language background
• Excellent experience working on high-availability and large-scale systems
• Excellent product design and development experience
• Strong distributed systems experience
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, AZURE, GCP)
• Math/statistics/data modelling experience is a plus
• Experience with machine learning engineering is desirable but not imperative
• Must be a driven individual with a passion for product development, technology and learning
• You must be happy, even relish, being intellectually challenged.
• Happy to - work hard, on hard problems, on hard mode - no weekend work, but the team is all in
