Role Overview

We're looking for a Full Stack Developer (m/f/d) to join our development team in Germany. You'll work on cutting-edge projects using modern technologies to build scalable, cloud-native solutions for our enterprise clients.

Technical Stack

We're seeking a talented Full-Stack Developer with a strong foundational knowledge and a passion for tackling new challenges. While we value broad experience across the tech spectrum over deep specialization in a single framework, you should be highly motivated to explore unfamiliar technologies and frameworks alongside your team, consistently delivering excellent results.

For our upcoming project to build an enterprise-grade AI chatbot, direct experience in the following areas would be a significant advantage:

• Conversational AI Frontend: Proficiency with React and TypeScript to build responsive, real-time chat interfaces.
• AI Backend Development: Experience building services with Node.js (using TypeScript) and integrating Python-based microservices for AI/ML tasks, particularly on the Azure cloud platform.

Our Tech Landscape

To give you a better idea, here's a snapshot of some of the technologies you will be using in this project:

• Frontend: React, TypeScript
• Backend: Node.js (with TypeScript), Python, FastAPI
• Databases: MongoDB, Azure AI Search, Azure CosmosDB
• Cloud: Primarily Azure (especially Azure OpenAI, AKS), AWS
• DevOps & Tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Github, Azure DevOps
• Testing: Jest, pytest

Core Responsibilities

As a key member of our development team, you will:

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable solutions for our conversational AI platform, focusing on the frontend and backend services.
• Build and refine robust RESTful APIs and sophisticated microservices architectures to support real-time chat and AI model integration.
• Collaborate effectively with product managers, AI engineers, and other developers to translate business needs into robust technical realities.
• Actively participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technology selection for our AI platform.
• Craft high-quality, robust software by writing clean, maintainable code and ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
• Elevate our team's expertise by conducting insightful code reviews and sharing knowledge about best practices in web and AI development.
• Enhance our development lifecycle by contributing to and improving our CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices on Azure.

Required Qualifications

• You must life in Germany and have a work permit in the EU, frequent meetings in our office in Cologne or with coworkers in Frankfurt, Berlin, Hamburg
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of professional software development experience after bachelor
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles
• Experience with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and containerization
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience in consulting projects is a plus
• Fluent in English (C1 level)
