Purpose:

Responsible for the functions and activities related to the analysis, design, coding, integration, testing, and maintenance of software modules, subsystems, or systems that control electrical, mechanical, electronic, or network systems.

General Overview:

  • Builds knowledge of the organization, processes, and customers.
  • Requires experience and knowledge in own discipline; still developing higher-level expertise.
  • Operates with moderate guidance and direction.
  • Exercises moderate decision-making authority, guided by policies, procedures, and business protocols.

Primary Responsibilities:

May perform one or more of the following:

  • Plan, design, develop, and test software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products.
  • Develop a range of products including device drivers, patches, OS modifications, and graphics modules.
  • Analyze, program, and modify software used in local, networked, or internet-based computer systems.
  • Write code, conduct testing, debugging, and complete programming using current technologies.
  • Plan and direct feasibility studies for electronic data processing applications.
  • Develop and install programs to support general business applications on PCs.
  • Design web pages including graphics, animation, and functionality; develop associated infrastructure and applications.
  • Provide hardware/software recommendations related to web development as needed.
  • Travel may include day trips within the city or region.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 1- 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in:
    • Animation
    • Coding and programming
    • Software design and engineering
    • Testing and debugging
    • Graphics and web development
    • Use of programming languages and modern development tools
    • Valid driver’s license.

    Preferred (Not Required):

    • Familiarity with Composition Solutions such as:
      • Quadient Inspire / EngageOne (formerly Doc1)
      • HP Exstream
    Location Requirement: Onsite, may include day trips within the city or region
