💼 About the Role

This is a rare hybrid role for a person who is part top-tier engineer, part strategic partner. As a Forward-Deployed Agentic Engineer (FDAE) at Orbina, you will own the end-to-end success of our most strategic enterprise deployments. You’ll lead a customer-facing Agentic Autonomy Squad to tackle complex automation challenges—serving as the single point of contact for both technical execution and business-level delivery. Your mission is to translate our platform’s capabilities into measurable business value.

🔥 Key Responsibilities

• Lead Customer Deployments: Guide a squad of engineers/analysts to design, build, and ship sophisticated agentic automation use cases for enterprise customers.
• Own Solution & Delivery: Take full ownership of the lifecycle—from architecture and roadmap to stakeholder management, exec-level presentations, go-live, and post-launch success metrics.
• Be the Customer’s Strategic Partner: Act as the primary counterpart to sponsors and domain experts—propose bold ideas, challenge assumptions, and navigate tough calls to keep outcomes on track.
• Stay Hands-On: Write code, review code, and set the technical bar by solving the hardest problems alongside your team.
• Shape the Product: Turn field insights into product improvements; work closely with Product & Engineering to influence the roadmap.

• Agentic workflows: tool-use, planning, orchestration, and multi-step autonomy
• Knowledge-grounded reasoning (RAG), function calling, evaluation frameworks, and observability
• Integrations with customer systems (APIs, data pipelines, BPM/ERP/CRM)
• Reliability, security, privacy, and production SLOs

🧰 Preferred Experience

• Production-grade development in Python, TypeScript/Node.js, or Go
• Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure), containers, CI/CD, and monitoring
• Enterprise integrations (REST/GraphQL, data modeling, identity/SSO)
• LLM/agentic tooling, guardrails, safety, and evaluation practices
• Strong written/spoken English
