Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Project Manager to lead agile application development projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet business requirements while coaching teams to follow Agile best practices. The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, risk management, and team leadership across multiple teams and subcontractors.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage agile application development projects, ensuring that all deliverables meet contract specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
  • Coach and guide development teams and subcontractors to adopt and follow Agile methodologies, promoting continuous improvement.
  • Organize and participate in reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives, ensuring transparency, accountability, and communication across teams.
  • Schedule regular progress meetings and prepare monthly reports highlighting project status, risks, issues, and recommended solutions.
  • Engage key stakeholders, including business users and the Product Owner, to align project goals and ensure expectations are clearly defined and met.
  • Identify and remove impediments, enabling teams to work efficiently and ensuring the successful delivery of application solutions.
  • Drive collaboration between cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and fostering a positive and productive working environment.
  • Monitor project performance and provide strategic guidance to ensure continuous delivery of value.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Atleast 6-8 years of experience in software or application development projects, preferably in Agile environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe, with experience coaching teams.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders and lead teams effectively.
  • Experience in risk assessment, issue resolution, and implementing corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Ability to manage multiple teams, including subcontractors, ensuring seamless collaboration and delivery.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
