mindline.sg is an anonymous digital mental health and wellness platform developed by MOHT. Individuals who use the platform are directed to appropriate channels of mental health support, self-help tools, and self-care exercises based on their profile, needs and preference for help-seeking. The digital first-stop touchpoint consists of a wide array of resources including wellness education, a clinically validated self-assessment for depression and anxiety which triages individuals based on the severity of their mental health needs, a service wayfinding tool that recommends best matched community mental health services based on a help seeker’s profile and location, and interactive resources including an AI therapy chatbot. Individuals are also able to chat with counsellors in real time through a text widget.
In addition to the suite of content and self-help tools made available, individuals can join let’s talk, our mindline community forum. This moderated safe space allows young people to express their feelings, thoughts and questions without fear of judgement, and receive advice and support from mental health professionals, peer supporters and like-minded youth. In the mindline.sg team, we are continuously exploring, improving and expanding our suite of tech solutions to better meet the needs of the population. Our goal with is to build a world-class digital mental health ecosystem that destigmatises, promotes help-seeking, and supports clinicians and professionals in the delivery of efficient and timely care.
SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
We are seeking a (Senior) Data Analyst who will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategy and impact of mindline.sg through robust analytics and applied research. This individual will lead data analysis and visualisation efforts to gather insights for product development and marketing optimisation. He/she will also support and initiate research studies, co-author publications, and collaborate with clinical and academic partners to validate and evaluate the platform's effectiveness.
This role requires technical expertise and intellectual curiosity, with a focus on delivering actionable insights and contributing to the broader body of evidence in digital mental health. The successful candidate will be confident in navigating complex datasets, conducting applied research, and translating findings into both practice and publication.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, marketing, development, clinical) to identify key data questions and insights needs.
- Collect, clean, process, and manage large datasets related to mindline.sg usage and marketing efforts.
- Analyse user behaviour, feature engagement, and conversion funnels to inform product strategy.
- Conduct A/B testing and other statistical analyses to evaluate new features and interventions.
- Track marketing performance and recommend optimisations across digital channels.
- Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualisations for diverse stakeholders.
- Lead or support the design of research studies to evaluate the effectiveness of mindline.sg features, interventions, and engagement strategies.
- Work with clinical, academic, and technical partners to co-develop research protocols and ethics submissions.
- Perform advanced statistical analyses for publication, including impact evaluations and longitudinal analyses.
- Contribute to research dissemination, including writing and co-authoring white papers, peer-reviewed articles, and conference presentations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a digital health, public health or behavioural research preferred.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python or R, and statistical methods.
- Experience with data analysis and statistical programming languages (e.g., Python, R).
- Experience in designing, implementing, and publishing applied research studies.
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Metabase, Superset, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. Experience with web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics) and marketing analytics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Experience in academic or policy writing, with at least one publication or technical report preferred.
- Experience in the mental health sector or digital health tech will be advantageous.
- Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Genuine passion for using data to improve user experiences and support mental health initiatives.
Education Requirement(s):
- A degree / postgraduate qualification in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Analytics, Psychology, Public Health or a related quantitative or health discipline.
Years of Experience Required:
- At least 5+ years of experience in data analytics, research, data engineering and/or product management.
