The Opportunity
We’re actively sourcing qualified Data Analysts for a high-impact opportunity supporting a healthcare organization focused on improving access, reporting, and delivery of care. Ideal candidates will bring internship or work experience building dashboards or delivering insights, along with an understanding of healthcare or nonprofit environments. This is a remote role with preference for DFW-based candidates or those available to work Central Time hours.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support program decisions and business operations
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, clean, and analyze relational data
- Interpret data to provide actionable insights to cross-functional teams, including healthcare program managers
- Validate data accuracy and investigate discrepancies or anomalies
- Document reporting processes and support ongoing improvements in reporting and analytics workflows
Required Qualifications
- Internship or professional experience applying data analytics in a business, nonprofit, or public sector setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formatting, charts)
- SQL querying skills and understanding of relational databases
- Exposure to healthcare, pharmacy services, life sciences, public health, or nonprofit sectors
- Strong attention to detail, data integrity, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance, EDI, or data privacy protocols
- Experience working with APIs or integrating data from multiple sources
- Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization platforms
- Basic scripting skills in Python or R
