📍 Derrimut, VIC | 🕒 Full-Time | Onsite

Be the Heart of HR—On Site, Every Day

At The Lynch Group, our people are at the core of everything we do. We're seeking a driven and approachable HR Generalist to join our vibrant team on site—where real connections happen and culture is built face-to-face. In this hands-on role, you'll work across the full HR spectrum, supporting our fast-paced operations and fostering a workplace where people feel engaged, supported, and empowered to thrive.

This is an on-site only position, ideal for someone who values being present, building strong relationships, and making a visible impact every day.

🔎 About the Role

We’re looking for a dynamic and people-focused HR Generalist to join our team onsite at our Derrimut location. In this hands-on role, you’ll be a trusted partner across the business—building strong relationships and delivering expert HR support where it counts.

This role requires someone who can confidently navigate the needs of both blue- and white-collar employees, adapting their approach to suit a diverse workforce. Whether you're supporting frontline teams or collaborating with office-based staff, your ability to connect and communicate will be key.

You’ll work closely with managers and employees to provide guidance on a wide range of HR matters, from employee relations and performance management to policy implementation and process improvement. Alongside your day-to-day responsibilities, you’ll also have the opportunity to lead and influence continuous improvement initiatives that shape the future of our people operations.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy solving problems, and want to make a meaningful impact, this is your chance to be at the heart of a business that values its people.

📝 What You’ll Be Doing

  • Administering HR policies, processes, and systems to support the employee lifecycle
  • Providing guidance and advice to managers and employees on HR matters
  • Coordinating learning & development initiatives to upskill our workforce
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and HR data
  • Supporting employee relations, including investigations & workplace issue resolution
  • Partnering with the broader HR team to continuously improve HR practices

🙌 What We’re Looking For

  • 2–5 years’ experience as an HR Generalist (or similar HR role)
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment laws & HR best practice
  • Confident in investigations, performance management, warnings & terminations
  • Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in HRIS & Microsoft Office Suite
  • HR or related tertiary qualification (ideal)
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret HR data & trends
  • Change management and/or project management experience (desirable)
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and passion for people
