In this role, you’ll design, build, and optimize high-performance backend services for enterprise-scale systems. You’ll work with cloud-native architectures, event-driven messaging, and microservices — ensuring scalability, reliability, and seamless integration across platforms. As part of a distributed team, you’ll collaborate with product and frontend engineers, champion clean code, and deliver mission-critical solutions in the cloud.

What To Expect In This Role (Responsibilities)
Design, develop, and optimize backend services with high availability and performance

Implement and maintain microservices architectures for enterprise systems

Manage concurrency, multithreading, and performance tuning in large-scale environments

Build and integrate messaging/streaming systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Amazon SQS, etc.)

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient system integration and reduce bottlenecks

Apply clean code practices, testing strategies, and observability (logging, metrics, alerts)

Work in cloud environments (primarily AWS; GCP/Azure valued)

Requirements
5+ years of backend development experience (Java and/or Kotlin)

Proven experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS (compute, storage, queues)

Strong background in event-driven architectures and messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker for orchestration and deployments

Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)

Expertise in concurrency handling, performance optimization, and thread management

Nice to Have

Experience In Fintech, Banking, Or Other High-transaction Environments
Java and/or AWS certifications

Familiarity with additional cloud providers (IBM Cloud, Azure, GCP)

Advanced English (written and verbal)
