We are currently hiring. a Global Total Rewards Specialist to be based in one of our offices in Bremen or Hamburg - Germany, Helsinki - Finland or Lodz - Poland.

Position Overview

The People Operations function within the People & Culture organization is a relatively new addition to the Epassi Group. In close collaboration with other parts of People & Culture and reporting to the Head of People Operations, the Total Rewards Specialist will be primarily responsible for supporting and continuously improving our total rewards approach across all Epassi markets from a best-practice perspective.

This role is best suited to an experienced Rewards professional who combines strong analytical skills with a strategic and tactical mindset and thrives in the fast-paced, dynamic environment of an international company in hyper-growth.

You will help define and operationalize our global rewards strategy, ensuring our programs are equitable, competitive, scalable, and legally compliant. Together with the People Technology team, you will also develop and continuously improve cyclical Rewards processes (such as the annual salary review and bi-annual incentive management schemes) by leveraging the digital rewards capabilities of our global HRIS, HiBob, and other tools where necessary.

Key Focus Areas

Operational Excellence & Rewards Analytics

  • Ownership and coordination of the global (annual) salary review process, including facilitation of country budget proposals for Epassi Group
  • Management and execution of bi-annual Epassi Group short-term incentive scheme processes to ensure STIs are correctly documented and paid
  • Support decision-makers and stakeholders with planned and ad hoc Rewards utilization metrics, KPIs, and analytics
  • Present complex data clearly and accessibly to business and people leaders across markets and functions
  • Conduct comparative analyses in compensation & benefits types based on market best practices
  • Perform cost-modelling of different cross-market compensation & benefits (e.g., harmonization scenarios)
  • Identify industry trends and incorporate research and macro-economic insights into recommendations (e.g., salary review budgets)
  • Knowledge of analytics or BI tools (Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI) in the context of Rewards considered a strong plus

EU Pay Transparency Directive

  • Drive and lead Epassi Group’s compliance work with the EU Pay Transparency Directive
  • Define and create required regulatory reports and analytics
  • Provide education and awareness to business and people leaders with subject matter expertise

Job Architecture Governance & Development

  • Maintain, govern, and develop the Epassi Group Job Architecture framework
  • Conduct evaluations based on the Gradar methodology and other benchmarking studies to define salary bands for new or updated jobs
  • Maintain salary bands and ensure cost control in recruitment and promotions
  • Manage external market salary reference data vendors and ensure internal salary bands are refreshed and updated

Requirements

  • University degree in HR or related subject
  • 5–8 years of experience in Total Rewards, preferably in a German or European context
  • Existing and valid permit to work in the EU
  • Strong communication skills, able to engage diverse audiences including senior stakeholders
  • Availability to travel occasionally
  • Proven expertise in MS Excel (advanced formulas, lookups, pivots, etc.)
  • Team- and solution-oriented with strong analytical and proactive mindset
  • Patient, organized, flexible, and adaptable in fast-paced environments
  • Very high proficiency in spoken and written business English plus fluency in at least one other European language (ideally German)
