Position Summary
Nestlé’s Product Technology Center in Konolfingen is a global hub for innovation in Nutrition, driving the development of new products, processes, and packaging for markets worldwide. As an Innovation Insights Intern part of the Front-End Innovation team, you will contribute to early-stage innovation by exploring consumer needs, behaviors, and trends. Working across all Nestlé Nutrition categories, you’ll help transform insights into ideas that shape the future of nutrition, bringing meaningful solutions to families around the world.
A Day in the Life of an Innovation Insights Intern
- Support the design and execution of qualitative and quantitative consumer research (e.g., concept tests, pack tests, shopper insights)
- Assist in the analysis of research results and preparation of presentations for cross-functional teams
- Participate in ideation sessions and workshops with R&D, marketing, and strategy teams
- Help monitor consumer trends and social listening to identify emerging opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams and external research partners across global markets
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing, psychology, social sciences, business, or a related field
- Passion for understanding consumer behavior and translating it into actionable insights
- Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Curiosity, open-mindedness, and a proactive attitude
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Familiarity with basic statistics and market research methodologies is a plus
- Fluency in English; German and/or French are considered assets
At Nestlé Research and Development in Konolfingen near Bern / Switzerland, we develop for Nestlé worldwide, new products, processes and packaging concepts for a broad range of products of our Nutrition, Dairy, Health Science and Coffee businesses. In addition, we also provide technical assistance to our factories.
