We are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Data Specialist with strong expertise in Azure Cloud services, Databricks, and MS SQL to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in building and optimizing data pipelines, transforming large healthcare datasets, and delivering actionable insights through advanced analytics and reporting. Experience in the healthcare industry is a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Engineering & Pipelines:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and other Azure services.
- Clean, transform, and model large datasets using Apache Spark, Python, and Databricks to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to support business decisions and healthcare operations.
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or Databricks to visualize KPIs, trends, and performance metrics.
- Work closely with data analysts, business stakeholders, and IT teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or related roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Databricks.
- Proficiency in MS SQL, Python, and Spark for data processing and transformation.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and cloud-based data architectures.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience working in the healthcare industry, with familiarity in healthcare data standards and compliance.
- Experience with Power BI or similar tools for data visualization.
- Knowledge of healthcare-specific data formats and workflows is a plus
