Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re looking to hire a Email Developer for a global media company. This is a Hybrid Contract role in New York City.
Must be available to go onsite 4 days week
The Consumer Marketing & Creative team is responsible for the development of all multi-channel creative marketing assets. This team generates revenue from consumers through subscriptions, including print, digital, and membership offerings such as AD Pro & AD Pro Directory, commerce & box continuity (subscription box and member store) businesses. We are looking for a hands-on developer to help build best-in-class creative to help drive the consumer business.
Responsibilities include:
- Apply individual brand styles and guidelines (fonts, images, visual aesthetic) to multiple assets and campaigns across channels to merge aesthetic and functionality
- Oversees multi-media projects, developing static and animated visuals
- Evaluates code to ensure that it is valid, properly structured, meets industry standards, and is compatible with standard web browsers
- Troubleshoot and QA emails using Email on Acid or Litmus, onsite units, and webpages
- Staying abreast of the latest technologies to push campaigns further
- Adheres with web accessibility ADA standards across all platforms
Required Experience/Skills:
- At least 5-7 years of email/web production or experience in a similar position
- Advanced knowledge of responsive coding using HTML/CSS/JS
- Proficient in table-based email templates
- Display ads
- Web pages
- Expertise with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), text editors (e.g., VS Code, Sublime Text), and QA tools, like Email on Acid and Litmus
- Experience working in an ESP such as Sailthru, Klaviyo, or similar platform
- Advanced knowledge of best practices and testing rendering consistency across all mobile platforms and desktop platforms
- Ability to communicate with cross-functional team members
- Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced team environment
- The ability to explain technical jargon to peers and cross-functional teams
- Understand and implement brand distinctive design style elements, understanding of both copy and visual compliance guidelines
