Job Title: Project Quality Manager
Location: Mons, Belgium
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract
Salary: 110k - 130k plus daily allowance
Role Overview:
Reporting to the Project Director, the Project Quality Manager will serve as the technical authority for construction quality management on the designated project. You will lead the development, implementation, and oversight of the Project’s Construction Quality Management Program and act as the single point of contact for contractors regarding quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, manage, and implement the Project Construction Quality Management Program in line with the client’s Project Manual.
• Review and align the Client's Construction Quality Assurance Program with the Project Program.
• Act as the SPOC for all Project Contractors regarding quality requirements and process improvements.
• Review and approve subcontractor quality submissions, including Quality Plans and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Implement the Project Benchmark / First of Kind program.
• Lead quality meetings with subcontractors and attend weekly construction meetings.
• Ensure the Quality Team implements key elements of the Quality Plan, including verification of installation works, compliance to ITPs, and uploading quality records to BIM 360.
• Manage contractors and subcontractors to ensure all BIM issues and construction non-conformance reports are logged, monitored, and closed before asset completion dates.
• Conduct failure investigations and root cause analysis, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
• Champion lessons learned and Lean Construction processes, with focus on waste elimination due to rework.
• Develop and publish weekly Quality Dashboard Reports.
• Implement the Construction Clean Build Program and ensure site personnel have received the Site Quality Induction.
• Oversee the Walkdown procedure as per agreed project standards.
Requirements:
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience working on complex construction projects.
• Proven capability to operate at a Quality Manager level or step up into the role.
• Able to integrate quickly into a live, dynamic project environment.
