If your answer is yes, you might be the person we are looking for. Valmet Flow Control business area is now looking for a motivated Manager, Information Security, to join our team in Vantaa!

Valmet’s Flow Control business area is one of the leading providers of mission-critical flow control solutions and services for process industries. We employ about 2,850 people in approximately 40 countries. With our global team of experts and innovative solutions, we help our customers to improve their process performance and ensure the safe flow of materials.

We are looking for an Information Security Manager, to take hands-on responsibility in driving forward Valmet's Flow Control Business Area information security. In this role you will be working mainly with internal stakeholders and with close collaboration, strong support and guidance from corporate security function. You can be an experienced professional or just starting but feeling a strong interest to grow in the information security area.

This role includes a wide range of different responsibilities, for example:

  • Driving information security practices such as information risk management, incident management, business continuity management, data security management and awareness programs within the business line.
  • Coordinating and participating answering customer queries and requirements related to information security
  • Participating to supplier information security management
  • Developing framework and structures for information security at Flow Control Business Area
  • Representing Flow Control Business in Valmet Information security domain and ensuring information security practices are aligned in the Valmet Corporation
  • Supporting different programs and projects with information security related topics

To Be Successful In This Role You Should Have

  • Either previous experience with, or demonstrated good understanding of, the demanding nature of Flow Control business, processes, products and services
  • Previous experience or willingness to learn about common information security standards
  • Previous experience or strong calling to learn about identifying and mitigating information and cyber risks
  • Experience in participating external and internal audits and managing the findings
  • Understanding how information security works through the supply chain, from customers to suppliers
  • Proven ability to work independently in complex global environment
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and implement improvements
  • Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on approach to incident management
  • Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree within the relevant field (Information technology or engineering)
