Kanvaz & Associates is a new Switzerland-based advisory firm specialised in supply chain transformation for mid-market and private equity portfolio companies. We combine AI-powered diagnostics, benchmarking, and playbooks with performance-based advisory. We operate with a network of experienced advisory partners and industry subject-matter experts, anchored by a lean equity partner team. Our clients are typically mid-cap companies (€100m–€1bn revenue) and private equity investors in the DACH, UK and Benelux regions.

We are seeking an all-round CFO who will become a cornerstone of our leadership team and drive the financial, tax, and legal foundations for our growth. This role is entrepreneurial by design: it is initially equity-only and suited for a professional who wants to build and grow a high-value ecosystem rather than join an established corporate structure.

The CFO will have three mandates:

Enterprise Finance Leadership

• Shape and oversee the enterprise business case across Advisory, Tech, and Ventures.
• Build integrated financial models that support growth, funding rounds, and strategic decision-making.
• Lead investor readiness, capital structuring, and funding processes (seed, VC, private equity, family offices).
• Provide client-facing CFO advisory support in transformation projects where financial leadership and credibility are key to drive our performance based model.

Tax, Legal & Governance Architecture

• Own the legal and tax structuring of Kanvaz GmbH and its affiliated entities (Switzerland, Netherlands, and beyond).
• Ensure compliance with Swiss corporate law and international tax standards (POEM, transfer pricing, IP structuring, cross-border management fees, etc.).
• Design and oversee partner participation structures (phantom pools, equity frameworks, tokenized dashboards).
• Act as sparring partner for the Managing Partners on governance, board playbooks, and investor relations.

Kanvaz Ventures Oversight

• Co-shape the venture investment thesis around supply chain and AI tech.
• Support due diligence, financial modelling, and portfolio company structuring.
• Represent Kanvaz in investor/family office discussions, bringing credibility and financial discipline.
• Ensure the Ventures platform is integrated into the broader ecosystem to maximize cross-pillar synergies.

• Swiss-based finance professional with proven CFO, finance director, or investment role experience.
• Background in FMCG, Private Equity, or Supply Chain/Industrial sectors preferred.
• Strong command of Swiss and international tax/legal structures.
• Track record of raising capital and managing investor relationships.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, hands-on attitude, and ability to thrive in a start-up/scale-up environment.
• Comfort in switching between boardroom-level strategic dialogue and practical finance execution.

• Equity-only compensation at entry, with the opportunity to build ownership in a fast-scaling ecosystem.
• Direct influence on the shaping of three synergistic businesses: Advisory, Tech, and Ventures.
• Role evolves into full CFO mandate with competitive cash compensation once funding and growth milestones are secured.
• Platform to co-create and scale ventures within supply chain, AI, and tech-enabled business transformation.

Our office is located in the building of CV Labs in Zug. CV Labs is in the heart of Crypto Valley, one of the world’s biggest AI/blockchain hubs, in Zug, Switzerland.
