Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly strategic and execution-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with strong expertise in Web3 fundraising, tokenomics, and investor relations. The CFO will play a critical role in capital formation—leading efforts to raise capital for the seed token offering and public token offering, managing treasury strategy, ensuring financial compliance, and supporting long-term growth of the $SRC Ecosystem.
This is a senior leadership role, directly reporting to the CEO and working alongside the executive team to drive fundraising strategy, investor confidence, and financial governance.
Key Responsibilities:
Fundraising & Capital Formation
Lead fundraising strategy for the seed token offering and public token offering.
Build and manage relationships with VCs, family offices, hedge funds, crypto-native investors, and institutional partners.
Oversee SAFT agreements, private sale negotiations, and token allocation strategies.
Coordinate roadshows, investor events, and community engagement to secure capital.
Financial Strategy & Treasury Management
Develop and oversee token treasury management strategy (liquidity, reserves, staking rewards, and allocations).
Implement capital planning to ensure optimal runway and scaling.
Manage cross-border fund flows, on/off-ramping, and FX settlement with partners.
Investor Relations & Reporting
Build transparent investor communication frameworks, including pitch decks, tokenomics updates, and regular financial reports.
Ensure compliance with regional regulatory requirements (MiCA, SEC guidelines, etc.) for token offerings.
Act as the financial spokesperson to external stakeholders, investors, and advisors.
Governance & Compliance
Ensure strong financial governance, risk management, and audit readiness.
Work closely with legal/compliance advisors to structure fundraising activities in accordance with applicable regulations.
Oversee smart contract audit financial implications (vesting, lockups, treasury controls).
Qualifications:
Proven track record in fundraising for Web3/crypto projects, ideally at seed and public token offering stages.
Strong investor network across VCs, crypto-native funds, family offices, and institutional partners.
Solid understanding of tokenomics, digital assets, and DeFi/TradFi fundraising structures.
10+ years in finance leadership roles, with at least 3 years in the Web3/blockchain sector.
Experience managing treasury strategies, token vesting, and liquidity provisioning.
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (MiCA, SEC, FCA, etc.) for digital assets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and investor-relations skills.
Preferred Skills:
Prior experience as CFO, Head of Finance, or Fundraising Lead in a Web3/FinTech startup.
Deep knowledge of trade finance, tokenization, or real-world assets (RWAs).
Strong background in capital markets, IPOs/ICOs/IEOs, or STOs.
Experience with smart contract financial controls and treasury tools.
