Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced AI Solutions Engineer to be based in Eindhoven or Amsterdam, with expertise in machine learning and computer vision to join our dynamic team. As a Solutions Engineer at Axelera AI, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing AI-driven solutions tailored to our clients' specific needs. You will work closely with clients, sales teams, and technical stakeholders to understand requirements, develop solution designs, and oversee the implementation of scalable and robust machine learning systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with clients to understand objectives, then design AI-driven machine learning and computer vision solutions to address their needs.
  • Develop and optimize computer vision architectures with a focus on GStreamer-based pipelines for enhanced video and data processing efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to craft proposals and effectively present solution designs and technical benefits to clients.
  • Oversee the implementation process, guiding cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with solution designs and project goals.
  • Work alongside data scientists and engineers to prototype, develop, and deploy machine learning models, with a focus on efficient GStreamer integration.
  • Conduct performance optimizations, troubleshoot solutions, and assess scalability for reliable solution delivery.
  • Stay current with industry advancements to drive innovation within the team.
  • Mentor junior team members, fostering knowledge-sharing and a collaborative work culture.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing computer vision solutions, with specific expertise in GStreamer for pipeline optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning concepts, experience in developing, training, and deploying models.
  • Proficient in Python, C/C++, and machine learning libraries (e.g., PyTorch, OpenCV, TensorFlow) and highly experienced with GStreamer, CUDA, and TensorRT.
  • Skilled in integrating various hardware platforms, including cameras, LiDAR, and other sensors, with GStreamer.
  • Familiar with Linux (Ubuntu) and other operating systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Effective communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with agile practices, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines is advantageous.
  • Relevant certifications in machine learning, cloud computing, or architecture are a plus, along with a commitment to ongoing learning and innovation.

Location

We support relocation to Amsterdam or Eindhoven for talent based abroad and interested in this role. Please note that this position requires presence in the Eindhoven office approximately 3-5 times per month / as required by business & cannot be done remotely.
