QuantumGate is a startup within VentureOne, supported by the Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC) and its research arm, the Technology Innovation Institute (TII). We specialize in developing and commercializing advanced post-quantum cryptographic solutions, with a mission to secure enterprise digital environments through cutting-edge protocols and applications that tackle the challenges of the post-quantum era.


As a Senior System Test & Customer Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our products. Your responsibilities will span various areas, including designing test plans, executing quality assurance procedures, and troubleshooting errors. Here’s what you’ll be doing:


Design and Development:


  • Collaborate with the engineer team to determine testing parameters.
  • Create comprehensive test plans and customized test cases for our cloud-based and Android applications.


Android & iOS Testing:


  • Conduct quality assurance and performance tests using the latest testing procedures.
  • Evaluate app performance under various conditions (e.g., low memory, slow network). Check for memory leaks, excessive battery usage, and app responsiveness.
  • Pay attention to the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) of our solution
  • Troubleshoot any issues and streamline testing processes.
  • Understand iOs and Android operating systems and their intricacies.
  • Test iOs and Android applications across various devices and versions.
  • Lead the design, development, and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Mentor and guide junior test engineers, providing technical expertise and support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of testing processes.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Continuously improve testing methodologies and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.


Collaboration and Communication:


  • Work closely with development and product teams to identify and resolve defects.
  • Provide technical support and communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution of issues, offering proactive solutions, and maintaining clear and concise documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address technical requirements and deliver training sessions to enhance stakeholder knowledge and engagement.


User Testing with LOCAL Customers:


  • Conduct user testing with LOCAL customers to gather valuable feedback and insights.
  • Update and deploy environments to ensure smooth testing processes.
  • Manage user enrollment and actively gather feedback, customer requirements, and detailed reports.
  • Design and execute comprehensive system tests and deployments specifically tailored for LOCAL customers.
  • Maintain necessary and separate environments for different customers to ensure a seamless testing experience.
  • Document demo prototype implementations and system testing results to keep track of progress and improvements
  • Analyzing feedback to identify areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate user feedback into the development process.
  • Continuously iterating on our products based on user feedback to enhance user experience.
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to junior engineers in conducting user testing and analyzing results.
  • Organizing and leading usability testing sessions to observe how users interact with our products.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.
  • Previous experience as a test engineer and user testing activities with local clients
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
